Job Details

As an Executive Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of cleaning and service for all guest rooms and public areas in the hotel. Cleanliness is of utmost importance in the hospitality industry, making your leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills vital for success. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary

$50,000–$55,000 a year, based on experience and qualifications.

Position Requirements

  • Knowledge of health and safety standards
  • Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience with at least 2 years in a direct supervisory role in hotels
    Knowledge of laundry operations

About Duties

As the Executive Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department
  • Assisting in the recruitment and retention of a service-oriented team
  • Managing labor efficiencies and departmental costs
  • Ordering departmental supplies and conducting monthly linen inventories
  • Scheduling for Room Attendants, Public Area cleaners, and Laundry staff
  • Supervising housekeeping employees to ensure the highest cleanliness and service standards for guests
  • Conducting inspections of guest rooms and public areas
  • Assisting in training new team members
  • Ensuring compliance with Sandman Hotels, Inns & Suites policies and procedures
  • Maintaining proper lost and found procedures
